This is a sketch design for a current project I'm playing around with. The idea is that a futuristic mech universe like the Front Mission world or Armored Core world had an apocalyptic war. Some years later people are starting to make a come-back in the wastelands, and are using scraps of whatever vehicles they can find, along with whatever mech pieces from the old world they can salvage, to slap together these Mad max style mechs and war vehicles. Its sort of a "fallout" meets "front mission" idea i suppose.

This one is a mech made out of a VW Bug. I drove a 69' Baja bug most my teenage years, so it was a lot of fun to think of how to turn one into a mech. The legs need work, but I'll be going much further with this and bringing about a final version soon.

You need a type of mold that chews through the floors of these carmechs. Then I think it would be authentic.
