Fulgore 01

Concept for the new Fulgore from Killer Instinct. This is the only character where all the concept art was on my shoulders. Which made me super nervous. Not only because Eric Canete had established a very specific shape language for the game, but also he was nailing all those other characters so well, and Fulgore is the cyborg poster child of KI.  If I screwed this up, it would be all pitchforks and torches on the forums.
He seems to be getting mostly positive feedback from the fans, which makes me super happy. I remember playing the hell out of KI on the SNES back in 7th grade, and drawing Fulgore on the front of my school notebook. It's surreal to be establishing his official update look 17 years later!
